Run
Comments: The run out felt pretty good. I knew I'd have to pick up my HR just to deal with the uphill/tiredness/snow accumulating on the way back and still run an even split. I'm glad I was able to squeak out a negative one. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked straight to my car, put dry clothes on and headed home! Now I'm eating pizza :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Still in the building phase. Come april/may I will hopefully be 10-15 minutes faster. Event comments: At the start there were about 300 runners trying to run through a 5 foot wide path...maybe not the best place to start a large race. Other than that, beautiful, flat course, and it snowed! I feel like I still may have enough lef to go for a swim later...we'll see. Last updated: 2010-01-10 12:00 AM

I wasn't planning on warming up, but I left my Gu in the car and remembered it about 5 minutes before the race. So I ran back, grabbed it (made a quick phone call) and ran to the start line. Just in time too.
