Banana and 2 Minin Blue Berry Muffin 9:00 AM...Heed and 24 OZ Water
Gel and Heed 6oz and Water 12oz 15 Minutes prior

Comments:

Started out a little too fast which cost me speed in middle and end of race..However was able to recover some speed after noticing too fast start
What would you do differently?:

Patience at the beginning..also using other runners to draft especially in high wind areas

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Had stomach virus previous day...limited carbo load untake and also had to hidrate day of.

Event comments:

Outstanding half marathon...you get a lot of bang for the buck..very scenic course and you cant beat the beer at th e finish
