Pre-race routine:

Volunteered at registration - super fun! Talked to other runners.
Event warmup:

I volunteered at the registration, so I was walking around quite a lot. Talked to lots of folks. Stretched, loosened up, and drank some water before the race.

Comments:

I am really happy with this run, I got a new PR! I feel like this is one of the first time I really attacked the run rather than just try to finish it. I was worried that I was going a little too fast at the half-way point, the time clock read 41 minutes. It worked out just right, and I had plenty of steam left to push it really hard the last half mile, passing a lot of people.
What would you do differently?:

I am not sure, I feel like this went really well for me. This is a 12 minute improvement from my past 10 miler.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, stretched, drank water, ate pizza.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I think if I keep doing intervals, I will keep getting faster.

Event comments:

I really love this race and recommend it - we were lucky we had good weather this year, sometimes it can be super cold. I will be back next year!

Course: I really love this race. It is a loop course, rolling hills, lots of support and fans cheering you on. It was fairly warm (20's). The wind in the last mile was pretty cold.
