Pre-race routine:

Ate 3 egg whites about 2 hours before race, then a pear about an hour before. showered, got dressed.
Event warmup:

Did a couple of laps nice and easy not really stressing.

Comments:

It was a good run, the hardest part was getting stuck behind people that were not going the pace that i needed to. I didn't push my self that much at the end, could have gone a little bit faster, but didn't feel like throwing up at the end of the race.

Over all i was pleased with my perfomance, but i look forward to getting faster and stronger.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. i Ran a good first race.

Warm down:

Nothing really, should have jogged....but it was POURING! by the time I finished

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My own head...i didn't want to have to throw-up at the finish line, so i coasted in.. And i wasn't vocal enough when i was behind someone I could have passed

Event comments:

I thought it was great! I had a great time and would do it again, with a tme mentality instead of 'just finish; mentallity.
