Comments:

Still nursing that ankle injury so I pulled way back and used this as just a training run. Ankle flared off and on during the run and the grassy area played hell with it. Diagonal snow beginning comming down about mile 5.5.
What would you do differently?:

Concidering the injury and weather there was not much I could control for this one
Post race
Warm down:

Light stretching and walk down. Ice pack on the ankle and fluid intake. Dry clothes right away as the wind chill was dipping under 30. Left as soon as the race was completed and bypassed the after party.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Ankle injury

Event comments:

I have to be honest. This course is really pretty boring. There is no scenery, trees or anything else that makes it stand out. The area is actually pretty desolate, challenging you mentally as well. If it wasn't for an after party, a medal and the Valentine’s Day angle I'm not sure the turn out for this race would be the same.

Course: Pretty much dead flat except a small rise as you run through the theatre. Short grassy area coupled with a narrow path is a bit dodgy.
