Comments: Split personality running the race. to try and race, pushing myself vs. use as another training run for the Marathon What would you do differently?: Decide before the race how I wanted to run and commit to it. I started out pushing myself into mile 2 and thru mile 3 before I changed my mind to try and cruise thru the miles (as a training run) and walk thru the 5-mile water stop. Post race
Warm down: Had a stretch with Marathon Sports again. Boy is it great to have tehm at races. Event comments: The sunny weather, although with a cold breeze, drew lots more runners to race than last year. In fact, they told Linda they ran out of race-day numbers and tracked someone down with extras. Nice, well run race and pretty much off of traffic. Last updated: 2010-01-20 12:00 AM

FOr breakfast (about 3 hrs pre-race), had a bagel with cream cheese and hard-boiled egg. Washed it down with a coffee, and then some Powerade throughout the morning.
Marathon Therapy was at the race again this year, so had them do a pre-race stretch for me.
