Comments:

Never had a comfortable stroke. Not sure why this was an ideal lake. Just wish it had been able to start on time.

Had a lady who had a flat and i was going to try and help but as soon as I started looking at it I noticed it was different from my Lemond and could not grasp how to quickly do it. Felt bad but had to leave her looking for help from the staff.

Ran first few miles but by mile 3 left leg was getting tight and then the right quad started as well. Ended up walking most of the last 3-4 miles.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I have a tendency to sweat so heavy i lose salt/sodium and that starts on the bike. Last year at the Ultramxtri I had the same issue.

Event comments:

Love the event. if not for the support on the course I would have DNF'd. A drink station every mile with fruit pretzels h20 and heed all made it possible for me to limp home.

I clearly have to put together more back to back workouts and figure out this sodium thing otherwise this is just not going to get any better.

In the end It was worth the try. I will look to do another again.
