Event warmup:

Just stretch a bit. knowing the problems with cramps and tired quads wanted to try and at least wake them up a bit.

Love this race. no question this is the most challenging type of race I have run to date.
What would you do differently?:

train harder prior. I let this get up on me with out training for it...oh well, still enjoyed the course .

Warm down:

Tlak with some friends then hit 24hr for a date with the hot tub.

Course: first 2 miles all single track wooded bike trail. Up down and up again. Once past the turnaround of the 4 mile race you get a chance to run with a normal stride for a bit on somem horse trails, only for me you are still working your way up hill.
