Swam a little before the start
Swim
  • 38m 18s
  • 1500 meters
  • 02m 33s / 100 meters
Comments:

Felt very good in the water. Didn't train much in the lake this summer so I decided to take my time and get my rythme right. On the second loop, I felt fatigue in my arms but stayed strong overall.
What would you do differently?:

Of course, train more. Swim regularly all year round!
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

Transition went fine.
What would you do differently?:

Next year, I will practice riding and running without socks and putting my shoes on the bike.
Bike
  • 1h 41m 13s
  • 40 kms
  • 23.71 km/hr
Comments:

Felt good all the way! I really had fun! I averaged faster than 23.7 km/h but my 2 transitions count in my bike time...
What would you do differently?:

Continue training to get faster and stronger.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

The T2 was the worse!! when I got in transition zone, I couldn't find my spot so I was running around with my bike trying to find my things. I knew I was next to a tree but near all the trees, my stuff wasn't there! Then I went closer and saw a little piece of my towel... somebody had put his stuff over mine... that's why I couldn't find it! I wasn't happy at all!
What would you do differently?:

Once I found my spot, it went fast. I can't do much about somebody that hide my things with his jacket... you guys at home, don't do that ok?
Run
  • 1h 06m 32s
  • 10 kms
  • 06m 39s  min/km
Comments:

Had a very good time! my legs hurt all the way but I felt good and strong.
What would you do differently?:

Train more to be faster and stronger
Post race
Warm down:

Walked, stretched and had a very good after lunch meal

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough training

Event comments:

I'll be back next year! :-)
