What would you do differently?: I had strep throat this week and on ABT's since Tues, so overall it was good taking that into account. Transition 1
Comments: just a little disorganized, should have visualized it before doing it. What would you do differently?: visualization. Bike
Comments: great start, just over half way in, got a bit of nausea and had to slow pacee for deeper breathes to help this. Transition 2
Comments: Elastic laces were just a little too snug, had a hard time donning the right shoe. What would you do differently?: Not wait until last minute to change laces in my newer shoes. Run
Comments: first time I didn't cop out and walk some, I may have jogged quite slowly at first, but it wasn't walking! YEAH! What would you do differently?: more running with training, it is my weakness. Post race
Warm down: walked, drank more water. What limited your ability to perform faster: illness Event comments: Swim events ran ahead of schedule, rest of event late (as typical) while waiting for the kids portion. Before the swim: came home from work, relaxed, short nap after an afternoon snack of yogurt with fruit. Did take an allavert (didn't know more than one in 24 hours could make drowsy, not a good idea afterall).
Before Sat events: Organized bags, double checked flat repair kit, checked list, loaded car, ate cheerios with fruit and a whole wheat bagel.
Before the swim: 300 easy, 6x50 easy/hard.
Before Sat events: walk
