Comments:

Ran well at start. Entered trail in about 6th place, passd two guys early on, then another midway through. Really disappointed that I couldn't catch the guy in front of me for 2nd place. Course was in decent shape compared to the 5k on the same trail system just the week before. I think the freezing over and accumulation of ice was a good thing.
What would you do differently?:

Not eat fries and drink beer the night before. I felt my stomach giving me problems as I tried to pass the guy in front of me. I decided to settle for third place and avoid injury given that Boston is my main focus now. However, still disappointed with 3rd place. I beat the 2nd place guy in the 5k the week before and should have more endurance than him!!
