Comments: Did this as simply a training pace run for my marathon in April. Probably was a little faster than my marathon pace will be, but just a 5-mile run. What would you do differently?: Ran fine with Kerrin. Would've run faster if she did not want me to run with her, but heck, she will eventually pass me and I will be asking her to stay back and run with me someday! Post race
Warm down: Half-mile walk back to the pub that was also to serve food/drink after race. Stopped at a tent and had a 5-10 minute chiro session. That felt good to loosen up a bit. Event comments: Nice to have pasta, chili and drinks (water, soda, beer) after a race. Last updated: 2010-02-03 12:00 AM

Bagel, cream cheese and hard-boiled egg about 2.5 hours before racetime.
Got to race about an hour before start-time, got bag and number. Relaxed at the pub which served as race headquarters. About 25 minutes before race, headed to start line - about 10-15 minute walk.
