Swim
  • 05m 28s
  • 328 yards
  • 01m 40s / 100 yards
Comments:

Got a poor start as I did not have anything to push off from. My turns under the lane ropes was poor. Did not have a good transition from lane to lane
Transition 1
  • 00m 51s
Comments:

6th best overall T1. Had to carry bike on sholder up hill from transition area.
What would you do differently?:

Work on jumping on bike and getting up to speed quicker
Bike
  • 47m 45s
  • 18 miles
  • 22.62 mile/hr
Comments:

Went to long with feet out of shoes. Overall pleased with Cadence, but would have liked it up a bit higher 105rpm/110rpm?
What would you do differently?:

Work on getting up to speed and feet into shoes quicker
Transition 2
  • 00m 48s
Comments:

Glasses broke while taking off helmet
What would you do differently?:

Not much - Just work on getting shoes on quicker (maybe put so glide on the inside for quicker slip on)
Run
  • 22m 10s
  • 5 kms
  • 04m 26s  min/km
Comments:

Kept pace at 7:08 for first mile off the bike. Droped off pace during second mile due to some difficult rolling hills. Some cramping during mile two was occuring
What would you do differently?:

Push pace harder by increasing run cadence
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around a bit and refueled with Endrouro RX recovery drink/Bananna/Water/Cliff Bar

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Gettign up to speed faster on the bike out of T1 w/ feet in shoes. Harder run pace. Need to be less than 7min mile pace for 5K

Event comments:

Pleased with my overall results and my efforts in all disciplins. Really improved on my swim.
