Comments: I started off strong and finished pretty good! I didn't get sucked into the fast start and kept my pace steady. What would you do differently?: Make sure I bring a snack to have before and after the race. It was too long between breaky & race time. The after food was lacking. Post race
Warm down: Didn't do enough stretching and then the drive home didn't help. I forgot my ice packs for my knee but it didn't feel that bad. My quads on the other hand....... What limited your ability to perform faster: experience! Event comments: For the price, is was a good race. It would have been nice to have some more volunteers at some of the aid stations and some better 'after race' food. It was a great race to gage how my training is going....
