![]() Swim
Comments: water was very shallow... despite the short distance ... I didn't swim very well at all.. at one ponit I stop and (midway) and touch the ground.. I waded a bit and breaststroked as well... I could have done much better.. What would you do differently?: crawl the whole way.. begin crawling later since the water was so shallow. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: I always seem to miss my spot... I kept looking and probably waster 15-20 seconds looking.. Despite that my T1 was pretty good compared to others... lots of room for improvement still. What would you do differently?: emboss my spot in my brain so its easier to find. HUSTLE .. ![]() Bike
Comments: my best leg with 20.4 mph.. i imagined it was higher.. felt higher.. oh well. What would you do differently?: hmmmm... magically hit 24 mph.. rofl.. how the heck do they do that? I placed 85th in the leg.. my best 1/3 of the race.. for sure.. the trek 5000 must be the reason.. lol. ![]() Transition 2
Comments: i totally lost my spot on this one again... but with 1:31 Id say I did good. I know if could find my spot right away I could shave off 20 seconds no doubt. I put my shoes on standing up which seems to make it faster.. ![]() Run
Comments: my weakest 1/3 of the race... and did it show today... I completely slogged through the run... i completely feel aparat after the bike... 9 minute miles is just awful for me.. I did 7:30s last time! I seriously need to train bricks more and get my legs going .. im totally disappointed on the run this tmie. What would you do differently?: build a base for running so I dont boink on the runs!! ![]() Post race
Warm down: water water water... cookies and lots of them.. watched the other BTers come in... What limited your ability to perform faster: building my run base... the shallow water.. and my inability to find my bike in the t1-2 zone... Event comments: excellent race. short and sweet... I saw lots of BTers which is always fun. This was a training event for me.. so despite my critical evaluation.. i still had loads of fun doing it... Last updated: 2005-12-02 12:00 AM
