Comments: Flipping COLD! Mix of light drizzle and sleet just after the start of the race. Got my bag back from bag check totally soaked. No dry clothes to change into so went straight back to the room and had to skip the celebration.Stopping for photo ops killed my time and pace but didn't care really. This is a destination / vacation run! What would you do differently?: Nothing ![]() Post race
Warm down: Not much to do... It was soo cold I headed straight back to the room and did some light stretching, hit the shower, slept for about an hour then went into MK for the rest of the day and had fun! And had Mickey shaped waffles... LOL! What limited your ability to perform faster: Photo Ops and crowds. Event comments: WDW Marathon weekend is all about having a good time. Most people will not get PBs here. Lots of photo ops and pretty heavy crowds until mile 8ish. Bottom line is you are coming to have a good time and get a really cool and coveted medal. You should do this at least once to experience it. Last updated: 2010-02-09 12:00 AM

Stand around for 2 hours freezing our buts off... Typical meal... Oatmeal and a balance bar. Sips of water and PowerAide. Try to stay warm.
20 Min walk to the start, Stretch and light jog. Came prepared with throw-away warmups and a 55 gallon trash bag for a wind block/wamth trap
