Run
Comments: Very frustrated with having to dart in and out of people that should have started the race with the corral they were assigned to. Could have run better if I had been able to start in the correct corral. 127/15643 Gender Place What would you do differently?: Leave the hotel earlier and listen to the race director about getting there by 5am. Post race
Warm down: Walked 1.5 miles to where my dad and son were watching the race. What limited your ability to perform faster: Having to start in a slower corral and weave around people for the first 5 miles. After 5, it got better but I was still having to weave a lot. Event comments: I understand the reason for the early start but it was not communicated well. They supposedly announced it over the loud speakers but you couldn't hear the speakers unless you were within 100 yards. The potty's were 1/4 mile away so no one knew they were starting early until the gun went off. Last updated: 2010-02-10 12:00 AM

Woke at 4:20am, got dressed and ready, ate an energy bar. Left for race at 5:00am. Got to parking at 5:45 and stood in line for the bus to start line until 6:15. Got off bus at 6:25. Checked bag and got in potty line. As we were still in line, we heard the gun go off for the race start. It was 15 min early. We finally finished and ran for the start line. My start corral was supposed to be 3 but ended up starting with 6 or 7.
Stretched while in potty line. Sprint to the start line.
