Comments: This is a HUGE race for a 10K Over 25,000 runners. LOts of course support. Bands all along the run. Spectators everywhere. Lost 35 Seconds in the Start. Just tought weaving through. Solid run the entire race with consistant miles times. What would you do differently?: Underestimated my ability ro run this race. Move my coral up next year. Think I can drop a full minute off pacing with my time group for first couple of miles. Post race
Warm down: Light stretch and walk down. Fluid and food intake. Water, Sports drink, Banana, small coffee, Bagel spread ofer 45 minutes. What limited your ability to perform faster: Overdressed for the race. Didn't need the knit hat, gloves and proabaly could have ditched the L/S undershirt. Event comments: Ukrops 10K is a truly excellent event. Worth the run and really a good time. No boredom on the course! Last updated: 2010-02-11 12:00 AM
