Comments: My best race to date. Wanted to average sub 7:00 for the race and prescribed by my coach Lar-Dog (Who had a foot issue about 2.25 miles into the race). Best RUn race results to date. Ended up 9th out of 153 (Top 6%) and 100 out of 2154 (Top 4.6%). What would you do differently?: Might be able to press some of my splits but not knowing the course and the number of hills, I tried to keep it at a strong but reasonable pace. Post race
Warm down: Jog for about .25 miles and did lots of stretching. Had a bottle of Recovery (Infinit + EAS Protein) and a cup of Chili. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. Just experience. Event comments: For the coast, this is a great race. Liked the Chili and Pasta that they had for after the race. Woke-Up, toke a shower, ate small amount of Oatmeal and sipped on a bottle of Infinit Run formula. Caffeine Pill about 1 1/12 prior.
Jogged for 1/2 mile and then stretched. Ran another 1/2 mile with some pick-ups in between. Jogged down the hill to the race start so maybe another .30 mile or so.
