Comments: Felt like I did pretty good. Got stuck in a little traffic but was able to get out and get in a good position. Transition 1
Comments: Was my first time changing to bike shoes in a Du. Last time I just stayed in running shoes to save time. I think it went pretty well with my transition set-up. I also was mentally going through the order of what I needed to do and how to do it during the run which I feel helped. What would you do differently?: Someday learn how to have my shoes clipped and get on the bike that way. I probably would've fallen over had I tried it this time. Bike
Comments: Passed 2 people and got passed by a relay biker going like 25~26mph. Was a little demotivating until I found out he was on a relay team after the race. What would you do differently?: Get in better bike shape, I struggled the last 2 miles and it hurt my second run. Transition 2
Comments: I unvelcroed my shoes so I could just hop out coming in to transition. I used speed laces for the first time and was really happy. What would you do differently?: Learn and practice riding with feet on top of shoes. Run
Comments: I was spent by the time I got to the second run. I wanted to run maybe a 6:30 pace but it was closer to 7 mins. I need to do more brick workouts. Post race

Showed up about 40 minutes before start, set up my bike, and changed into my race clothes.
Jogged around a bit, I was a bit tight but didn't feel like I stretched all the way out before the race start.
