Pre-race routine:

Up at 5am. Yoghurt and one slice of toast.
Event warmup:

No warm up. Busy registering, finding where transition was and going to briefing.

In a lane with a guy who was fairly slow - i had to overtake him twice which was a novelty.
Wore a swimhat for the first time - it is different.
What would you do differently?:

Try to do it a little quicker.

Long walk from transition area to start bike hence long time. I maybe should get to run with bike ...
What would you do differently?:

Run with bike. I have been not rushing in transition as i seem to be doing it all too quickly so maybe i should just trust myself more.

Really really hard. And it was raining and dull and if my boyfriend hadn't been there at end of first loop i would easily of packed the whole lot in.
What would you do differently?:

Really really need more practise on bike - specially with inclines - hills.

Still run/walking. A little quicker than last week. Still problems with bladder stability but i won't go into that now

Warm down:

Some stretches then had a massage. I said my hamstrings felt tight and the bloke really hurt me ..I have the bruises to prove it!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training, bladder.

Event comments:

A hard course (i thought), but lots of volunteers and everyone was really friendly - apart from marshalls shouting at me in transition!
