Comments: coming off flu i did ok, but felt my breathing was sporadic and choppy. pool was only 3 ft deep so hit my hands, and was against the wall which was very odd. heated water hitting me every 3 ft was strange. What would you do differently?: concentrate more, focus Transition 1
Comments: spin bikes were used, volunteers had trouble reseting the computer so couldn't pedal to warm up, lost some hr and time. Bike
Comments: cadence was higher than my normal and gearing was low. hard to adapt to the change. Transition 2
Comments: changed into running shoes, then went upstairs. took one GU pack and 16 oz water. Run
Comments: no hrm, but good idea of pace by listening to breathing. What would you do differently?: need to pick up the pace, felt as if i was sandbagging, but the competition really helped me stay consistent. Post race
Warm down: walk 2 laps on track, stretch in gym. What limited your ability to perform faster: my focus and ability to push myself. feel as if race wasn't enough. Event comments: good race, but feel as if i could have given way more. no soreness or tired feeling afterward. good indicator of my fitness level however, need to work on my run times and get my swimming time down.
