Swim
Comments: felt good...surprised how "slow" it was...was breathing mostly every 4 strokes...almost caught and passed one but was passed by one... What would you do differently?: breathe every 6... Transition 1
Comments: run to bike transition...had trouble with Garmin and it frustrated me and thus cost me some time... What would you do differently?: remember it is a race and not worry too much about Garmin Bike
Comments: made sure to drink my Garorade throughout bike leg to keep well hydrated AND to maintain blood sugars What would you do differently?: not worry about Garmin too much Transition 2
Comments: bike to swim...always a challenge when you wear so much stuff due to cold bike ride What would you do differently?: not much... I was thinking further ahead Run
Comments: probably went out a bit too fast the 1st mile (6:52) then did 7:35, 7:35, 6:48 (0.91 miles and thus 7:28)... What would you do differently?: more HIIT, more discipline... Post race
Warm down: walked, waited for and watched Sarah...loaded up truck afterwards... What limited your ability to perform faster: frustration with Garmin Event comments: no frills but efficient...good safe course...their timing computer was not working properly and thus did not have the results after race...they will be available online in a few days...
