Pre-race routine:

Got up at 6:00am. Eat a blueberry pop-tart and drank a few sips of water. Loaded the bike and headed to the site. Arrived around 7:30am. Setup transisiton area.
Event warmup:

Ran 1 mile at 8:15 before heading into pool area. Swam a 200m warm-up.

Swin was better that last year but I have a lot of work I need to do. Had to stop two times because of traffic. One person actually grabbed my ankle trying to pass me. Rude A-hole!
What would you do differently?:

Swim faster.

Pretty good transition for me. First time without using socks. Still need to continue improving my time. If it first part was not up hill, I would have started with my shoes on the bike but did not want to chance it with the up hill start so I ran with my shoes on.

Warm down:

Hung around and watched Robin finish. Talked to a few friends, ate a little free breakfast.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Swim still my biggest adversary. I need to continue working with Jason on improving my technique, bike felt good and run was ok, Need to lose more weight and work out harder,

Event comments:

Was very disappointed that the results were not posted before the awards ceremony. Only seen one posting at 10:15am, Hung around to see my official time but it didn't happen.
