Swim
  • 07m 21s
  • 219 yards
  • 03m 22s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swimming is my worst event. It was a reverse triathlon, so it made it even worse. I swam the first 100 continously, the next las 100 was a mix of freestyle and backstroke.
What would you do differently?:

I need more swimming training.
Transition 1
  • 01m 56s
Comments:

I came of the run, and strapped my helmet and cycling shoes pretty quickly. I also mounted the bike quite well. I was already wearing my gloves and glasses during the run.
What would you do differently?:

nothing, I felt great
Bike
  • 31m 14s
  • 12 miles
  • 23.05 mile/hr
Comments:

By far the best cycling I have ever done. Till now, I barely maintain 20 mph for 10 miles. This time I was able to maintain 20 mph against teh wind for 6 miles and 26mph for another 6 miles. It was wet and raining extremely hard, but I felt great.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, with more training I should only get better.
Transition 2
  • 01m 38s
Comments:

I got of the bike soaking wet. It was still raining. My legs felt heavy as I ran the rack. I removed my helmet, glasses, gloves and shoes very quickly and ran to the pool.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster to the pool
Run
  • 17m 20s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 05m 34s  min/mile
Comments:

It was a fast run. I was with the front group and I was able to see the top 3 guys mount their bike, I was probably about 40 seconds behind them. I felt great though.
What would you do differently?:

with more training I will get faster. Though, I was stuck in the middle of a big pack for the start, probably cost me a good 10 seconds.
Post race
Warm down:

walking

What limited your ability to perform faster:

horrible swimming

Event comments:

Great race, weather didn't help, but great race
