Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal breakfast. Out of house by 6AM to arrive at race by 6:45.

Comments:

Raining most of race. Not too bad other than socks getting damp, leading to some foot issues.
What would you do differently?:

Do better job cutting toe nails.

Warm down:

Went straight to car to get kids to soccer games.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Pinky toe had sharp edge that sliced into other toe. Probably wouldn't of happened if feet weren't wet. Really hurt last 3 miles. Was really hoping to break 1:50 and was on track. Just didn't have it at the end to keep the pace up.

Event comments:

Really liked course change, hitting the park up front. Nice to get the hills out of the way while still having adrenaline charge.
