Comments: absolutely smoked this swim with zero training. Other than running into two jellyfish, this swim could not have gone better. What would you do differently?: trained more, but then there is that quality of life thing. :) Transition 1
Comments: Set up my stuff perfectly...never had to worry about getting the right stuff on and I racked at the end of the rack closest to the fence, so I had all the room I wanted. The 5 seconds it cost me to run the length of the rack, I'll take for the lack of stress by being jammed by other racers. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: pushed the bike WAY too hard...should have saved some more energy for my legs on the run...I just get too excited on flat courses, because I don't ever see them while training. What would you do differently?: dial it down a notch Transition 2

Comments: stupidly pressed too hard on the bike and cooked my legs. I ended up walking before mile 1 and then progressively got better, as time wore on, and my legs loosened up. I FINALLY felt like running the last mile in. I was hoping for a 9:00 pace, but it was not to be today. What would you do differently?: pace the bike better Post race
Warm down: got a towel, medal, and looked around for friends hanging out....could not find Kristin and I had daddy duties to attend to. :) sorry!
