Swim
Comments: Swimming is stupid and I hate it. I had a little freak out session in the water, I stopped swimming to relax and work on my breathing, and Sheri was right next to me. I hung with her a while, she wasn't settling down. Finally she hung onto a kayak and I left her. I lost a lot of time but didn't care. The purpose of this race was to get me in the water before Eagleman- the bay is way too cold right now. What would you do differently?: Become a duathlete:-) Transition 1
Comments: I did not leave my shoes on the bike or take them off while I was riding in since we had to run with the bike quite far on gravel. Also, my swim sucked ass so badly that I probably didn't really care too much about my transitions. What would you do differently?: I do need to practice my transitions. It wasn't bad, but of course it could be better. First in T1 Bike
Comments: I am actually very happy with the bike portion. Typically, I would not be happy with below 20mph average speed, but this has to be the hilliest course I have ever raced on. It was a beautiful course, I enjoyed myself the entire ride, and I felt like I redeemed myself on the bike and run. I passed so many people on the bike- I kept laughing to myself that these were all the good swimmers. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Comments: Again, I left my shoes on and took them off in transition. What would you do differently?: 2nd in T2 Run
Comments: I love running- I felt great and I passed so many people. I loved this course. First mile was all uphill, then it seemed like the rest was all downhill. Triathlons are great, I start off with something I hate, then the day just gets better and better. Even with a horrible swim, I can still be happy with my race. Post race
Warm down: none- I always forget. What limited your ability to perform faster: I HATE SWIMMING! Event comments: Setup events rock! They put on awesome races, well organized, fun, etc. The prizes kind of sucked, but no biggie. I will do any of their races anytime. http://www.setupevents.com/files/KineticSprint_AGWomen_2010.html Last updated: 2010-03-03 12:00 AM

Woke up late with a hangover. Sheri and I drove up early the day before to get in the water and do a little bike ride. We ended up stopping at a Winery and we didn't stop drinking until around midnight. Wine and vodka don't mix:-)
Got in the water, didn't seem to help a whole lot.
