Comments:

once again got stuck behind slower runners at the start and could not speed up. I had to use the restroom and by the time I got back into the corral it was packed. I can't believe all these people are in the "A" and "B" corral and take off slower than 7:30 pace. Anyway I spent most of the time trying to get the first mile seconds back. End the end I just ran out of steam and failed to break 1:30. I ran solid and did what I could, just didn't have my A game today.
What would you do differently?:

Make sure I'm in corral "A" and don't run the first mile slower than 6:50. Keep training hard and get the job done

Warm down:

walked to the tent had a beer and talked with friends

What limited your ability to perform faster:

large crowd and windy conditions. I also did not take advantage of the wind at my back during the final few miles

Event comments:

This is a great race, it's a little crowded, but I can eliminate that by getting faster and towards the front.
