Felt pretty good. Started on the outside an angled in. Before my wave started saw some poor soul in the wave before me doing backstoke going North --the course was an East & West loop.

This was very surprising to me. I have never raced on a bike before so I didn't know what to expect. I really enjoyed it and it was so much more peaceful than the chaos of the swim. I didn't crash or make some one else crash so I'm glad of that.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe go a little slower because I had nothing on the run.

Bad-- maybe will have to go without socks next time and get some laces that I don't have to tie. My daughter was telling me how she caught a caterpillar-- made me laugh.

Bad-- real bad. Strange because I felt fine on the bike then once I started running I had nothing. I almost felt like I would have to start walking on the first hill but I kept running.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe take a gel or something during the bike. Do more bricks.
