For first race of the season I did not push as hard as I think I could have. Was afraid of red lining.
What would you do differently?:

Push a bit harder. My cadence was a little higher than it should have been. Would like to have been a harder gear and a slower cadence.

Had trouble riding with feet on shoes. Again, new shoes and not enough practice. Also had trouble putting on running shoes because my feet where numb from the cold.

What would you do differently?:

Need to practice some trail running for races like this. I did not mind it but could have gone harder if prepared for it.

Need to do more sprint work. Had trouble with breath control when I pushed it.

Warm down:

Small stretch and junk food. :(

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Need to condition stronger.
Need to work with new aero bars and new shoes.

Event comments:

For a first time the race was very well run. I hope there is a second annual and that I can make it. I think this race will get bigger because I think everyone there had a good time.
