Swim
  • 04m 29s
  • 274 meters
  • 01m 38s / 100 meters
Comments:

Did well not sure how to rank myself but it seemed like others didnt rank themselfs fairly. Had a Guy blow by me at about the 150 mark he should have gotten ahead of me though.
What would you do differently?:

Just keep working on my stroke and breathing. It is very hard with all that warm water to get comfortable breathing.
Transition 1
  • 00m 47s
Comments:

When I got to the transition I found out I forgot to set my helmet up for a speedy transition.
What would you do differently?:

make sure I have my helmet is set up and ready for me to just slip on.

  • 35m 53s
  • 13 miles

Comments:

Great bike ride I was really wanting 22mph avg and I wanted to hit 35:00. I am happy and I felt great. I was very comfortable on the ride.
What would you do differently?:

learn to fight the winds better.
Transition 2
  • 00m 42s
Comments:

A good transiition to bad I forgot to take my garmin off b4 I got off the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Work on getting my garmin off before I get off my bike.
Run
  • 22m 9s
  • 3.2 miles
  • 06m 55s  min/mile
Comments:

Good Run after last year whtn I got beat so bad on the run. I vowed not to get beat by the run ever again. I really worked the hills knowing I would have to face the big hill at the end.
What would you do differently?:

need to keep working on getting my run time down. I think I can hit 6:30 miles by september.
Post race
Warm down:

hung out with the team and just cheered on my teamates that were still on the course.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

nothing I did great I cut 4:57 min off my last years time what more can I ask for and I got my 1st age-group win. I focused on correctiong my weakness which was the run. I had 2 goals for this race 1.) to gert my weight to 175 and 2.) get my run down below 22:00. Almost did both but hey I'll give up the :09 for the Age group win.

Event comments:

I love this race. Maybe that is where my Tri journey started. I will always be partial to this race.
