Pre-race routine:

I was not going to run due to the severe weather conditons, but I decided to just do it.

Comments:

We ran in 50mph winds, heavy rain, hail. Branches were coming off tress. Mailboxes and siding were blowing off. We had trouble staying on the road at times.
During most of this run, many of us were thinking "this is crazy!" I would say there were half of the usual amount of runners this year due to the weather.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.

Warm down:

Cold, yes cold shower. There was no hot water int he girls' locker room.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

the weather conditions.

Event comments:

I am surprised the RD did not cancel due to severe weather conditions. But I am glad to have finished under the extreme weather circumstances.
