Swim
Comments: Started in the 4:30 crowd. Should have started in the 5 minute crowd. Pool was very crowed and created lots of turbulance. Got my arm hung up on the rope lane divider around 150 meters. my breathing sucks. What would you do differently?: This was my second triathlon and had a slight panic attack which made the whole swim bad. I think it is a sight thing which leads to not breathing normally. Then all snow balls from there. Just need to relax and swim my race. Transition 1
Comments: Put glasses, helment, then socks and shoes. All went pretty well. There were a few people in the way as I crossed the mount line, but ran around them. What would you do differently?: I need to get over wearing socks and go without them. Bike
Comments: Pushed hard the whole course due to short distance. Overall a good bike for me. What would you do differently?: Just need to put more time in on the bike to get faster. Transition 2
Comments: No issues. Put shoes on and ran. What would you do differently?: Again, go sockless. Run
Comments: Felt good off the bike. Ran somewhat hard, then sprinted last 1/4 mile. What would you do differently?: Just run harder for short distances. Post race
Warm down: Walked around, stretched, drank some water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Need to add more training volume in all 3 sports. Event comments: It was a beginners race and there was many of us. Negative: A little disorganized prior to start. Bathrooms broke down. Timing system dropped many of the competitors times. Positive: lots of volunteers. ok course. Lots of after race food and drinks. Good race overall. I would do it again. Last updated: 2010-03-14 12:00 AM

Standard, ate a bowl of cereal, drank a cup of coffee, and had a piece of fruit. Went to the bathroom, always key. lol.
Showed up to race and I always feel like I am too early, but better to beat the crowd. Got marked and picked up chip. I was able to pick where I wanted to place my bike in transition, since I was early, so that was good.
Kept long pants and t-shirt on to keep body warm due to slight breeze. Jogged about .5 or so with a friend to loosen up. Continued to stretch and tried to stay loose until the start. Drank a gatorade.
