Pre-race routine:

Camped in Tennyson Bay on Friday night after driving 6 hours from La Crosse.
Great to see other runners camping. Pasta for dinner.
Went into Ephriam to pick up packets. Love the bag and shirt design!
Event warmup:

Biked from campground to Nicolet Bay start line. Stretched but no running for warm up.

Performance: Good
Course: Nasty hills around 5 miles. Rollers in between 5-10 then coming down back to finish. Loved that the course was closed to traffic. Beautiful views of the bay and running in the trees was a little like a trail run.
