Run
Comments: A competitive and small race. I was really happy with my run and ran the last mile in under 9 minutes. I'm a bit bummed by my age group ranking but I couldn't have done anything else given that this was exactly where I was in my training. What would you do differently?: Nothing! Post race
Warm down: Glad to see my family at the finish line. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not training beyond this distance yet. Event comments: This is my first 10 mile 'race' in 13 years. I used to do the St. Albert 10 Miler during my marathon training back in 1994-97 and of course I was younger & better trained: used to do it in under 90 minutes. This year, it was my first 10 miles of the year. I ran as well as I could! Last updated: 2010-03-16 12:00 AM

Woke up and had bagel, coffee and juice. I was glad to see that it was sunny and not very windy, as Friday had been windy and cold.
Looked for the start line. By the time we found it and found a washroom, it was time to start.
