Run
Comments: Felt good the entire race. I need to keep telling myself to push it harder. I feel as if I slow down and get comfortable about mid race. The first mile pace was 6:42 so I obviosly slowed down. I do feel that I could have done just a little bit better. Next time!! Over all I am happy with my performance considering this is the first 5K I've done this season. Also last year's time for this race was 24:40 so I believe I have come a ways since 2009!! Bring on 2010!!! What would you do differently?: Push harder and stretch a little more. Still pumped!!!!!! Post race
Warm down: Short time walking and found a fellow team member coming in and ran back with her and gave some encouragement (way to Patty, strong finish). Then some stretching and hydration. What limited your ability to perform faster: My own self telling me that I was confortable. About half way through I was not hurting but found myself pacing with some other runners and not thinking about pushing ahead of them. My younger brother also caught me about this time and I should have stuck with him as he finished 20 seconds ahead of me. I need to get in a runners state of mind!!! Event comments: CIDA always puts on a great run and post race activities. Way to go CIDA. Thanks to T3 for showing up and giving support on the side lines. All of our big guns were watching as we ran. Thanks again!! Last updated: 2010-03-24 12:00 AM

Got up this morning at 0500. Took suppliments, bottle of water, 2-3 cups of coffee, bannana, and begal thin.
1/2 mile warm up run with general stretching. I took a bathroom break and everyone was lined up for race to begin. I had to hurry up and stretch a bit more before the race. Felt a bit rushed but that is only my fault.
