woke up, had Ensure, showered, packed gear, drove to event, set up transition area...
Event warmup:

rode bike for only a few minutes, clipped in shoes...then jogged with Sarah and did several series of strides...

should probably take the first two miles closer to a 6:50 pace...

Warm down:

rode bike in easy gear for about 6 minutes...walked afetrwards with girls and waited for Sarah...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

went out a bit too fast on the run, good steady pace on bike...

Event comments:

the course was much more clearly marked this year, but there are some issues with how they tabulated times and placings of participants...
