Comments: When the gun went off, I turned on my iPod and got moving! I felt great for the first 3+ miles. I finished mile one in just over 10 minutes. Around mile 4, my stomach began to bother me...and this hurt me for the rest of the race. I could have finished mush stronger otherwise. What would you do differently?: Less coffee before the race. Post race
Warm down: Stretched and found some of my BT friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Stomach issues...ugh! Event comments: I loved the 10K course...I wasn't bored at all. I had an hour drive to Dearborn from my home. I stopped for coffee at the Tim Hortons only a few miles from the start. Picked up my race packet and the met up with my fellow BTer's.
Stretched, tried to keep warm! Brrr...it was COLD!
