Swim
Comments: seemed longer than 500m adverstised..not too bad..got hit a few times by some overzeleous triathlete..finished relatively strong..also glad I was wearing a wetsuit.. What would you do differently?: need to start training to breathe on both sides..go faster. Transition 1
Comments: first ever transition..came out of the water fine..but then took sometime to recover from the hit I received while in the water..slight im-balance..took time to take off wetsuit..sat down..wore shoes..took extra time to find things..multiple issues overall as can be noticed from the time it took.. What would you do differently?: -proper setup in transition - keep goggles and helmet together - try running to transition area Bike
Comments: forgot bottle water for the bike..hence was thirsty after the swim and during the bike..bad idea..also air in tire was not enuf.. What would you do differently?: - need to prep bike for the race - practice.. Transition 2
Comments: not too bad overall though i was slow as was recovering from the bike ride Run
Comments: disclaimer: i was running 3 mi for the first time since nov 2009..outcome was as expected What would you do differently?: train.. Post race
Warm down: none What limited your ability to perform faster: - lack of running training - preperation for the race the day before - need more hours on the bike Event comments: well i was second last to finish hence everything was gone byt he time I got done..maybe I just need to faster to see whats post race events are :) Last updated: 2010-03-25 12:00 AM

running around looking for a pin to attach number bib..also wearing the wetsuit for the first time was kind of a workout in itself..
