Swim
Comments: A fast swim for me. 17th best on the day. My plan was to go all out since my bike fitness isn't where it should be. Had to pass about 10 people in the narrow lanes, but all in all I'm happy with the swim. What would you do differently?: Notta. Transition 1
Comments: Felt fast but the time is slow. Thinking it includes most of the run from the pool to T1. What would you do differently?: ? Bike
Comments: I think this may have been just shy of 10 miles but not sure. As I said, my bike fitness is lacking, but I still rode better than expected. Happy with the bike, no issues and felt surprisingly good. Transition 2
Comments: Again, too slow. My toes were frozen from the ride and I could hardly run with my bike. Also had trouble getting my garmin off my bike with cold fingers. Lost probably 20 seconds just for being cold. :( What would you do differently?: Booties. Run
Comments: This course was definately short. About 2.85 miles according to my garmin. Still though, felt good and turned in the 8th fastest run of the day. What would you do differently?: Probably could have pushed harder. Didn't. Not sure why. Post race
Warm down: Two cokes. Two bowls of egg/grit slop. Event comments: Good race, typical of setup events. Will be back for round 3 next year! Was really happy with my performance, 12th/400 is way more than I expected. Racing in the open division may be in my near future. Gotta get that bike split down! Last updated: 2010-03-29 12:00 AM

Woke up, rode to venue with a buddy also racing.
No swim, jogged about a mile.
