Swim
Comments: I had a good swim What would you do differently?: sighting would be the best thing I could improve on..at one point I was half way across the lake and had to turn back :) Even the guy in the boat was starting to come after me cause I was soo far off course lol Transition 1
Comments: Wetsuit Strippers luv them!!! I took a few extra seconds to make sure everything was good! What would you do differently?: go faster Bike
Comments: Fun course... What would you do differently?: be more ready...thought I did great for not being on that bike yet this year :) (needs tune up badly) Like I said great jump start to the season ... Transition 2
Comments: lol ..I sat down put my socks on....blah blah blah What would you do differently?: go faster Run
Comments: felt good for the first 5km was running well had a bit of bathroom distress...walked a few times...got a stitch that I could not get rid of after mile 5...so yeah iam happy with this time...I cannot believe it wasn't slower, cause I took it really easy and knew I could have kicked it a lot more than I did. What would you do differently?: run faster...do more bricks, it is hard to run 10km after 1.5km of swimming and 40km of biking! Post race
Warm down: put my bike away What limited your ability to perform faster: training Event comments: Not enough pee pee stations, people urinated on the course..not me though. Volunteers were great, course was marked well. Security in the trans area was excellent. Post race no food...the so called bbq was 4 teenagers standing in front of 1 bbq. They had cookies and doughnuts..hot dogs and hamburgers...not one piece of fruit or a vegetable...this sport is supposed to encourage healthy living???? here have some gatoraide complete with all the liquid sugar your body can handle... here have a hot dog yummy nitrates.
