Swim
Comments: Started in 4th, passed everyone. Worked hard. What would you do differently?: Move through transition faster. Transition 1
Comments: Long run to transition. Carpet was okay, pavement with bare feet was not. Slowed down as feet went numb. Many people passed me here. Oh well. What would you do differently?: Take shoes even though they said not to. Bike
Comments: Worked the bike, worked on cadence, especially at the end as the elite riders passed me. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: So much grit on my inner thighs that, after the run, I had some issues. Didn't feel it during the race since my thighs were numb. What would you do differently?: Run in socks. They were already wet so what was the point of keeping the bike shoes on? Run
Comments: Best I've ever felt. Very relaxed. Just worked on keeping a good cadence. Since I rarely do well here, just tried to make it pretty. What would you do differently?: Rinse off legs first. Post race
Warm down: More like "warm-up description." Didn't even stay for raffle or awards. So cold just threw stuff in the car and cranked up the heater. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: Adding the second pool is a great idea but those of us assigned to it had no idea what to do about the long run and had no idea how long it was or what the surface would be like. That should change. Last updated: 2010-04-03 12:00 AM

Huddled in the pool area. Cold, cold, cold.
Running from pool to transition and back. Heard various stories about what I was allowed to bring to the pool so had to return items to transition.
