Run
  • 21m 28s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 06m 54s  min/mile
Comments:

Started great at sustainable pace that kept me feeling solid into the bike.
What would you do differently?:

Ignored other runners as much as possible. Maybe warm-up with more strides to prime up the lungs.
Transition 1
  • 00m 33s
Comments:

Took a little longer to get feet strapped in, but a successful run mount with shoes on bike.
What would you do differently?:

Practice getting feet in shoes more often, especially with wet feet.
Bike
  • 53m 48s
  • 18 miles
  • 20.07 mile/hr
Comments:

Tough ride against the elements. Good out of saddle climbs - definitely could gained ground on opponents when getting out of the saddle on some of the roller. Had a smile on my face the whole time!

What would you do differently?:

Had fuel more easily accessible (strap up that tube). Stay down and pedal harder in the areo position, especially with strong headwinds.

Keep pedal hits consistent and powerful everytime.
Transition 2
  • 01m 1s
Comments:

Struggled to dismount - couldn't get left foot out of the shoe. Even lost the shoe, but a spectator helped out.
What would you do differently?:

Practice dismounting, and getting shoes out at the right time.
Run
  • 21m 44s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 06m 59s  min/mile
Comments:

Felt awesome after mile 2, overall great brick off the bike and felt good. Nice confidence booster for tri. (Sprints = go all out)
What would you do differently?:

Go all out toward the finish, or last half mile.
Post race
Warm down:

Haha, not much. A brief stretch with butt-kicks

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Sloppy T2, maybe a little more effort on final half of bike and last 5K.

Event comments:

Nice job 3D.
