Brutally cold to go from 80 degree indoor pool to 49 degrees wind and rain. Its a shock to the system.

Should have brought a warmer jersey...maybe gloves..it was COLD.

i could have pushed a lot harder towards the end, i didn't know the coarse well enough to know when to kick. I had alot left in the tank at the end.

Event comments:

Fun race, cold, but fun. Not all that organized it seems. Transition was looseey goosey, just rack where you please. Wave orders were announced 5 minutes before the swim start and not posted anywhere, no athlete guide, in fact communication over all was pretty lacking compared to other races. That said, I'll definitely do it again next year.
