Swim
Comments: Crowded thru the whole swim. I was never really able to seperate from the pack, which for me is not bad because the the pack is normally passing me. Best job of navigating I've done in any other races which really made a difference in my time. What would you do differently?: Keep working on swim to get better Transition 1
Comments: Everything was kind of a mess because of the wheather. Bike
Comments: Wet roads made me a little nervous about getting up to speed to quickly. Once I became comfortable on the wet roads, I was able to get aero and start moving. Passed a lot of people and played some cat and mouse with one guy who set a pritty good pace. What would you do differently?: Not be so tentative at the start. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Tighten my laces after putting my shoes on. Run
Comments: 10k PR!! Passed tons of people. All the interval training and extra long runs really paid off. What would you do differently?: Run faster. Fealt like I left a little out there. Post race
Warm down: Paced for 20 minutes looking for my wife. What limited your ability to perform faster: Better swim and wet roads. Event comments: Came to race wanting to beat last years time of 3:03. Kinda blew that away. Best organized race of the season in the best city. I'll keep this one on my calender. Last updated: 2010-04-08 12:00 AM

Got 5o'clock wake up call and headed over to event.
Set up transition area in pouring rain.
Ate a bagel and banana.
Found some heat by a portable lite. Was able to do a lot of stretching during over 2 hour wait from the time the transition area closed and my swim wave went off.
