Swim
Comments: Because of the way the results are posted, I have no idea how I did within my normal AG or even overall. Considering the lack of training, though, I did okay. Transition 1
Comments: Long run up to T1, as usual for Decker Lake. Tried to take it a little easy to let my HR come down at least a little. Bike
Comments: Garmin data was screwed up so I'm not sure what my NP was. AP was only 185 and that felt damn hard. Transition 2
Comments: Got off the bike no problem, but didn't have a good fix on my spot on the rack, so I had to slow down a bit. Run
Comments: Started slow and stayed that way. I didn't walk, but 9-minute miles for a 5k is pretty sad. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: I didn't do anything for over a month prior to this race. It's not surprising that my body wasn't ready for a sprint-level effort. Lack of sleep and other issues also didn't help. Event comments: Always a fun event. Last updated: 2010-04-09 12:00 AM

Got up late because the volume on my alarm clock was all the way down. We had a guy house sit our dogs a couple of weeks ago. I left the alarm on and he couldn't figure out how to turn it off, so he just turned it down. Obviously I didn't realize that. Stopped at McD's for an Egg McMuffin, which turned out to be a big mistake.
Jogged a bit with my partner and swam a little prior to the start.
