Pre-race routine:

Ate half a waffle and half an orange at the motel. Took an Excedrin about 40 minutes before my heat started.
Event warmup:

Ran around on the grass to get my heart rate up. I did not feel nervous at all about this race. I enjoyed the whole thing!

I felt like I pulled hard for the whole swim. I love the 50M pool! I think I had a really good swim!

I made all my actions deliberate, and that saved me scrambling time. I thik this transition went really well except....
What would you do differently?:

I should have made sure my jersey was unzipped. That did cost me a few seconds. And, my helmet was on the towel backwards so I had to turn it around. No major hangups here.

I couldn't find my transition spot. My towel was all bunched up and I couldn't see it.
What would you do differently?:

Calm down and think sensibly. I was practially standing in my spot, but couldn't see my towel. Make sure I leave the towel spread out so I could find it.

I felt like I had a really good run. I thought I was pushing my pace a little bit, but maybe I wasn't. I guess I'll see when the splits are ready!
