Expected to do better here. was thinking I could get 21, but didn't even break 20. The turns hurt me. carbon brake pads are tough to get used to.

Had some poor kid stop me in T2 and ask to borrow my helmet. That cost me at least 4 minutes. I know I was only in T2 for 1:15. Don't ask me to explain how it cost me 4 minutes, it's complex math. Just trust me....

Pretty happy with this. Was hoping for 7:30 pace, but I'll take it. At about 2.8 I could hear a guy catching me. started to run harder and harder. about 200 yds from finish he was right next to me, and we both sprinted, with everything we had. We must have had identical finish times, not sure who won. Made for a fun finish.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster.
