Swim
Comments: Current was very strong and water was very cold. Navigation was good because could spot on people in front. However, the current basically took you where you wanted to go. With time trial start and drift, I went out slower than usual. This worked well for the bike. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: Great T1. My fastest yet. Helped having rack right next to swim enter and bike exit What would you do differently?: Need to learn to do running start on bike Bike
Comments: Back pain brought me out of my aero bars at about mile 20. Had a great avg going until then. Still not in shape to do the distance at the pace I want. Died a bit at the end. What would you do differently?: Core work!!!! Transition 2
Comments: Got off bike too early. Lost a bit of control of bike running across line. Ended up with real fast T2. Run
Comments: Cramped a bit due to too much water on the bike. Had to walk 4 times for 30 second each. Just did not have the pace I wanted in me today. Still had a OK overall pace. What would you do differently?: Just need to train more so I can handle the 10K at the end. Looking good for 5K but... Post race
Warm down: Walked around a lot. Should have jogged a bit. Waited tool long to roll. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not in shape yet. Can't be unhappy with my race. Did the best I could given the time of year. Metally, I know I have much more in me. Event comments: For 1st year, great. They will make the small changes needed to make this a top race. I expect the size to double next year. Hopefully it will fit in my schedule so I can be back. Last updated: 2010-04-13 12:00 AM

Usual. Got there at 6, grabbed my transiton spot. Set up gear, rolled and went for light jog. Did not get to swim.
8 minute light jog with a few quick kind of hard runs in between.
